Smok Pen – An All-Time Best Seller?

It really is with a heavy heart that I write about Smok Pens. I have been quite a long time user of another pen manufacturer’s products and while they were ok, not as good because the Smok Pen. I have always been a fan of mechanical pens however when I saw the cost of the Smok, I nearly swallowed my fist. I purchased the pen, thinking it could be like the original Visconti which cost me near a thousand dollars. I thought I was getting a fountain pen for my money but was extremely let down by its performance.

The initial Smok Vaporizer gave me very little flavour, it tasted like plastic and was quite bland and boring. So, when I decided to give the Smok Pen a go I did so so with much trepidation. I knew that it was only going to replace the functionality of my original pen and so I set out to see how it performed. My first impression was that the look of the pen was very clever and that it taken in the vapour. I didn’t even know what to label of it at first.

The men looked like an electrical pencil and had a USB charging port on underneath. I loved the point that I possibly could charge my battery through it. I didn’t have any concern with draining the reservoir though. The reason I say the reason being the charging system on the Smok Pen is actually quick, I could charge my battery within minutes, unlike the two hours it took for my original rechargeable battery.

After charging up the pen, I laid it down on a table to try out its temperature control and energy saving modes. After leaving it to heat up for approximately five minutes it read 50 degrees and felt scorching to the touch. After that it went cold instantly and stayed this way, that i found extremely impressive. The Smok Vaporizer appeared to work perfectly as advertised, using only a 1600mah battery to give me extended battery life. I also discovered that the coils on the pen weren’t too sticky when working with it, unlike some other pens which can be quite messy when cleaning.

When it came to using the Smok Vaporizer, I must say that it was so easy to utilize that I almost forgot I was supposed to charge the Smok Pen! It has a very ergonomic design, and therefore the buttons are fairly close to the body meaning that it’s easy to press down on them without thinking about it. You will find a nice little touch feature on the Smok Pen which allows you to change the color of the button to red once you need to. You can find no safety issues whatsoever, as the Smok Vaporizer comes with an incredibly high safety standard when it comes to the power it really is charging from the micro usb port.

The only real issue I found with the Smok Pen is that the reservoir appears to Vape Pen Battery leak occasionally. This is the minor issue, but something that could potentially be annoying when you’re waiting for a sit down elsewhere or tea. It appears that the problem is caused by the pressure of the liquid that’s being held in the reservoir behind the fire button. I’ve got the leak fixed, but it did happen once, therefore i guess it isn’t totally unbreakable.

The Smok Vaporizer does indeed perform as well as I would expect from a day to day pen. The cool thing is that there is a built in powerbank for all those times when you need to have an e-liquid quickly. The reservoir also acts as the e-liquid reservoir, meaning that there is absolutely no extra hassle or complication, and which means that you can always be ready to fire up your pen. If you’re a person who doesn’t want to mess around with a USB cable, then this can be a must have. It’s extremely easy to use and the instructions that include the pen are very clear.

Smok Vaporizer really has put a large focus on simplicity making use of their latest vaporizing pen. The e-liquid capacity is ample, it’s incredibly an easy task to refill, and it provides the correct amount of flavour each and every time. It’s my favourite pen as it provides quality vapour for extended periods of time, and with a battery that lasts for longer than most pens, that’s saying something!
